On Sunday, Hozier electrified Finsbury Park with a performance of his latest album, Unreal Unearth: Unheard. The day started with London's trademark dreary weather: rain. As fans poured into the park, so did the rain, drenching the audience on and off through the three opening acts.

Yet, the weather couldn't dampen the spirits of the attendees, who were treated to stellar opening performances. First up was Ye Vagabonds, a captivating folk duo from Ireland. Next, LA-based Lord Huron took the stage, mesmerising the crowd with a soulful rendition of "The Night We Met." The audience sang along, creating a moment of pure magic. Brittany Howard closed out the opening acts, delivering a powerful set despite the downpour. She later joined Hozier on stage for an unforgettable cover of "Feelin’ Alright."

As Hozier stepped onto the stage, the skies cleared, revealing blue and sunshine. The park buzzed with excitement as fans settled in for the main event. The setlist was a masterclass in live performance, featuring fan favorites like "Francesca," "Too Sweet," "Almost (Sweet Music)," "Work Song," "Angel of Small Death & The Codeine Scene," and, of course, the iconic, "Take Me To Church." When introducing "Nina Cried Power," Hozier took a moment to address the current crisis in Palestine, voicing his support with heartfelt conviction. The crowd's energy was palpable, with groups of friends dancing and singing, lost in the music and the joy of seeing their idol live.

As the evening drew to a close, Hozier moved to the B stage for a more intimate set, performing slower songs like "Cherry Wine" and an unreleased track. The atmosphere turned serene and enchanting. He ended his performance with "Work Song," a poetic love anthem that left the crowd in awe.
